What is Dicynone® (etamsylate) used for?

Dicynone® is commonly used for:

  • Unusually heavy bleeding during a menstrual period (menorrhagia)
  • Unusually heavy bleeding caused by an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) such as the coil

How should I take Dicynone® (etamsylate)?

For orally taken form, you should:

  • Take Dicynone® bymouth as directed by your doctor concerning: dose, schedule.
  • Read the label carefully before using Dicynone®.

How do I store Dicynone® (etamsylate)?
