Stop Crestor and get medical help the same day for
- Unexplained muscle pain, weakness or cramps, especially with fever, tiredness or dark brown urine
- Yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes
- Severe pain in the upper stomach

Yes. Crestor is the original brand of rosuvastatin, developed by AstraZeneca. AstraZeneca Sdn. Bhd. holds its Malaysian registration, and each strength has its own MAL number.
All three contain rosuvastatin. They differ in maker, pack size and price, and only Crestor comes in 5mg at Hello Doktor. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands.

Taking Crestor
Your doctor chooses the strength from your cholesterol results, overall heart risk, kidney function, ancestry and other medicines. Reorder the same strength printed on your current box.
Any time of day, with or without food. What matters most is taking it at roughly the same time every day.
Don't worry. Skip the missed tablet and take your next one at the usual time. Never take two tablets to catch up.
Safety
Headache, stomach ache, constipation, nausea, muscle aches and feeling weak are the most reported. They are often mild and may ease after a few weeks.
Tell your doctor if you take ciclosporin, gemfibrozil, warfarin, or some HIV or hepatitis C medicines. Take antacids with aluminium or magnesium at least 2 hours after Crestor.
It isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with active liver disease or severe kidney problems. Crestor 20mg needs extra care with kidney problems. Your doctor will check before prescribing.
