Buying Zarator
At Hello Doktor, one box of 30 Zarator tablets is RM53 for 10mg, RM63 for 20mg and RM79 for 40mg. Each strength has its own price, so the higher the dose, the more a box costs.
No. Zarator is priced per box, so 3 boxes cost RM159 for 10mg, RM189 for 20mg or RM237 for 40mg. You can order up to 3 boxes at once, roughly 90 days of tablets.
Yes, with a valid prescription. Zarator is registered with the NPRA and our licensed partner pharmacy packs and delivers it. No prescription yet? A doctor can see you by video for RM1.
Yes. Zarator is a controlled prescription medicine in Malaysia, so a doctor has to confirm it's right for you before a pharmacy can supply it.
Zarator and Lipitor
Both contain atorvastatin and both come from Viatris. Lipitor is the original brand and Zarator is a generic version. Zarator is sold in 10mg, 20mg and 40mg, while Lipitor also has 80mg. A box of Zarator costs less than the same strength of Lipitor.
Many people can, usually at the same strength, as long as your dose is 40mg or below. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first, finish one brand before starting the other, and never take both on the same day. If you take Lipitor 80mg, Zarator has no matching tablet.
Taking Zarator
The common ones are usually mild: a stuffy nose, headache, indigestion, or aches in muscles and joints. Stop taking Zarator and contact a doctor the same day if you get unexplained muscle pain or weakness, dark urine, or yellow skin or eyes.
If you remember the same day, take it then. If it's nearly time for your next one, skip the missed tablet and carry on as normal. Don't take two to catch up.
Zarator is a film-coated tablet, which means it has a thin smooth coating that makes it easier to swallow. Check the strength on the blister strip each time you open a new box.
Store below 30°C. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Keep the tablets in their blister strips inside the box until you take them.
Based on Zarator's registered product details in Malaysia and current Malaysian clinical guidelines. Reviewed at least every six months.
General information only, not a substitute for advice from your own doctor or pharmacist. Zarator is a prescription medicine.
