Lipitor prices at Hello Doktor for one month or three months of tablets. Lipitor 10mg and 20mg are the same price, and so are 40mg and 80mg, so a dose change within those pairs doesn't change what you pay.
The 3-box price includes RM15 to RM20 off, depending on strength (RM15 on 10mg and 20mg, RM20 on 40mg and 80mg). Prices may change. Doctor consultation RM1 is included with your order.

Lipitor is the original brand of atorvastatin, the active ingredient that lowers LDL cholesterol. It was developed by Parke-Davis, later marketed by Pfizer, and first approved in the United States in 1996. In Malaysia, Lipitor is registered with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) and supplied by Viatris Sdn. Bhd.
Doctors prescribe Lipitor to bring LDL cholesterol down and protect your heart and blood vessels over the long term, together with healthy eating, activity and not smoking. If you'd like to understand how the medicine itself works, read our guide to atorvastatin.

Buying Lipitor
Yes. Lipitor is registered in Malaysia and available on prescription in 10mg, 20mg, 40mg and 80mg. At Hello Doktor, it's dispensed by a licensed Malaysian pharmacy and delivered to you. If you don't have a prescription yet, you can speak to a doctor by video for RM1.
A box of 30 Lipitor tablets from Hello Doktor costs RM129 for 10mg or 20mg, and RM179 for 40mg or 80mg. Buying 3 boxes of the same strength saves RM15 on 10mg or 20mg, and RM20 on 40mg or 80mg. The RM1 doctor consultation is included with your order.
Yes. When you buy 3 boxes of the same strength, you save RM15 on 10mg or 20mg, or RM20 on 40mg or 80mg. That's RM372 for Lipitor 10mg or 20mg, or RM517 for 40mg or 80mg, which covers about three months of tablets.
No. Lipitor needs a prescription in Malaysia. If you're already prescribed it, you can order a refill here. If not, a licensed doctor can assess you by video for RM1 and prescribe Lipitor if it suits you.
Lipitor strengths
Lipitor is priced in two bands: 10mg and 20mg at RM129, and 40mg and 80mg at RM179. Your doctor chooses your strength based on your health, not price, and a change within a band doesn't change your monthly cost.
Yes. 80mg is the highest strength of Lipitor. It's usually kept for people with established heart or blood vessel disease, and your doctor will monitor you more closely while you take it, with regular blood tests and reviews.
The product
Each box holds 30 tablets in 3 blister strips of 10. Taken once a day, one box lasts about a month, so 3 boxes cover roughly a quarter of a year before you need to reorder.
Packaging can change over time, so a new look isn't a problem on its own. Check that the box shows a MAL registration number and a Meditag hologram, and that the strength matches your prescription. You can look up the MAL number on NPRA Quest3+. If you're unsure, ask our pharmacist on WhatsApp.
Store below 30°C. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Leave the tablets in their blister strips until it's time to take one, and keep the box somewhere dry, away from direct sunlight and steamy bathrooms.
Switching and safety
Usually, yes, at the same strength, because the active ingredient is the same. Only switch with your doctor's or pharmacist's advice, never take two brands together, and check the new box carefully the first time so you know what your tablets look like.
Most are mild, such as a runny nose, headache, an upset stomach, or aching muscles and joints. Stop Lipitor and speak to a doctor that same day if your muscles hurt or feel weak for no clear reason, your urine turns dark, or your skin or eyes look yellow.
Don't take another dose that day. Contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice, and seek medical help if you feel unwell. Take your next dose at the usual time the following day, and keep your box somewhere you'll notice it to help you keep track.
Based on the registered Lipitor product information in Malaysia and current Malaysian clinical guidelines. Reviewed at least every six months.
For general information only. It does not replace advice from your doctor or pharmacist. Lipitor is a prescription medicine.
