After the temperature of the mixture cools down a bit, pour the butter mixture into a bowl and place it into the fridge or freezer to cool and turn it into the solid form (not hard). Once the mixture has the firm solid consistency, you may add few drops of essential oils such as lavender, rosemary or tea tree essential oil to enhance the scent of the body butter moisturizer. Using the mixer, whisk the body butter mixture until it turns into butter-like consistency and don’t over whip it as it may separate the butter. After the butter-like consistency is achieved, scoop the butter mixture into a clean, small glass jar and place it in a room temperature environment.
If you ever think of less greasy body butter moisturizer, you can choose types of fast-absorbing carrier oils such as Camellia seed oil, Safflower oil, Grapeseed oil and Rosehip oil to fasten the oil to absorb into the skin. In addition to that, you can also add ingredients that absorb excess oil such as Arrowroot powder or tapioca powder. Arrowroot is high in Vitamin B which helps to improve the blood circulation while tapioca powder can thicken the mixture as well as absorb the excess oil.
