What is Mesulid® (nimesulide) used for?

Mesulid® is commonly used for the treatment, control, prevention, and improvement of the following conditions:

How should I take Mesulid® (nimesulide)?

Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert.

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food. Swallow it whole. Do not chew or crush.

How do I store Mesulid® (nimesulide)?

Mesulid® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Mesulid® in the bathroom or the freezer. Do not take this medicine if:

Do not consume more than one pain-relieving medication at a time.

Caution is advised with the use of Mesulid® if you have bleeding disorder.

Mesulid® may cause infertility in women, and should not be consumed by women planning to become pregnant.

This medicine should not be given to a child under 12 years of age.

Treatment with Mesulid® should be in short duration and discontinued if it does not improve.

Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
