Normogastryl is used for the treatment of metabolic acidosis which may occur in severe renal disease, uncontrolled diabetes, circulatory insufficiency due to shock or severe dehydration, extracorporeal circulation of blood, cardiac arrest, and severe primary lactic acidosis.

How should I take normogastryl?

To use effervescent tablets:

  • Drop tablet(s) into a glass of room temperature water.
  • Wait until tablet(s) are fully dissolved and have stopped fizzing.
  • Drink water.
