What is the dose of Hyland’s® 4 Kids Cough Syrup for an adult?

Adults and children 12 years and over: 15 mL or 3 teaspoons every 15 minutes for up to 4 doses until relieved; then every 4 hours.

What is the dose of Hyland’s® 4 Kids Cough Syrup for a child?

Children 2 years to under 6 years: 5 mL or 1 teaspoon every 15 minutes for up to 4 doses until relieved then; every 4 hours.

Children 6 years to under 12 years:  10 mL or 2 teaspoons every 15 minutes for up to 4 doses until relieved; then every 4 hours.

Hyland’s® 4 Kids Cough Syrup is available in the following dosage forms and strengths:

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Hyland’s® 4 Kids Cough Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
