An enlarged prostate, and what 5mg does about it

The prostate sits below the bladder and surrounds the urethra. With age it commonly enlarges without being cancerous, a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia. As the gland grows it narrows the passage urine travels through, which is why the stream weakens and the bladder feels less than empty.
