What finasteride 1mg does for hair loss
Finasteride 1mg is a daily tablet for adult men with male pattern hair loss, and it is the only finasteride strength registered in Malaysia for that use. It is a prescription only medicine, so a registered doctor must assess you before a licensed pharmacy can dispense it. Male pattern hair loss follows a hormonal pathway. Testosterone is converted into dihydrotestosterone, and in men who are susceptible that hormone gradually shrinks follicles at the temples and the crown until the hair they produce is finer, shorter and eventually absent.
