A strong listening skill helps you support your colleagues when they speak and understand their ideas well. That way, you can work your way into their good graces while learning something for yourself.
It’s important to know how to pitch an idea, but your idea is useless if no one wants to go with it. Therefore, the ability to persuade others to go with your ideas is vital to be successful in any line of job.
The success of a team depends on how each team member takes responsibility and accountability for his or her duty. The skill of accountability means you are able to acknowledge and take responsibility for mistakes.
If you have the skill of cooperation, you are naturally willing to be active in your team. You are engaged in sharing ideas and completing tasks. By being cooperative, you make yourself valuable and honorable to your team. Nobody likes a passive person when it comes to work.

If your team mate doesn’t understand something, be willing to explain it to them until they get it. Your team mate may be a slow learner, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are stupid or inferior. Studies show that slow learners are likely to be better at certain skills once they have mastered them. So, the next time someone asks you a question, don’t snark them. Just try your best to answer the question.
