What is Magne-B6 used for?

Magne-B6 (Magnesium Lactate) is commonly used for mounted magnesium deficiency accompanied by symptoms such as increased irritability, minor sleep disturbances, gastrointestinal cramps or heart palpitations, fatigue, pain and muscle spasms, prickle.

How should I take Magne-B6?

As indicated in the instructions for Magne B6, any dosage form of this drug is taken by mouth. Tablets are taken with meals with a glass of the sufficient amount of liquid.

How do I store Magne-B6?

Magne-B6 is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Magne-B6 in the bathroom or the freezer.   • Severe renal insufficiency (CC < 30 ml / min)
  • Phenylketonuria
  • Children up to age 6 years (Pill)
  • Children up to age 1 year (for a solution)
  • Fructose intolerance
  • A syndrome of impaired absorption of glucose or galactose
  • Lack of sucrase-isomaltase
  • Hypersensitivity to the drug

Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

There are no adequate studies in women for determining risk when using Magne-B6 during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please always consult with your doctor to weigh the potential benefits and risks before taking Magne-B6. Magne-B6 is pregnancy risk category C, according to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recommended dose for adults is 6 to 8 tablets per day.

The daily dose is divided into 2-3 doses.

Children older than 6 years of age with a body weight more than 20 kg each appoint 4-6 tablets. As a rule, the daily dose is divided into 2-3 doses.

How is Magne-B6 available?

Magne-B6 is available in the following dosage forms and strengths:

  • Tablet, Film-Coated; Oral; Magnesium 48 mg; Vitamin B6 5 mg
  • Tablet, Film-Coated; Oral; Magnesium 100 mg; Vitamin B6 10 mg

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Magne-B6, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
