What is Hyland’s® Earache used for?

Hyland’s® Earache is commonly used for temporarily relieves the symptoms of fever, pain, throbbing, irritability and occasional sleeplessness associated with earaches after diagnosis by a physician. Relieves common pain and itching of “swimmer’s” ear.

How should I take Hyland’s® Earache?

Tablet:

This drug comes as tablet form. Drink it with a full glass of water. Ask your doctor for more information.

Drops

Wash your hands before and after use. Lie on your side with problem ear up. Put drops in ear without touching dropper to ear. Stay on side for 1 minute. Do not touch the container tip to the skin.

How do I store Hyland’s® Earache?

Hyland’s® Earache is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Hyland’s® Earache in the bathroom or the freezer. What is the dose of Hyland’s® Earache for an adult?

Tablet:

Adults and children 2 years and up: Tilt head sideways and apply 3-4 drops into involved ear 4 times daily or as needed. Tilt ear upward for at least 2 minutes after application or gently place cotton in ear to keep drops in.

Drops:

Adults and children 12 years and over: Dissolve 2-3 tablets under the tongue 3 times per day for 48 hours or until symptoms subside.

What is the dose of Hyland’s® Earache for a child?

Tablet:

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Hyland’s® Earache, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
