Fluimucil® is used for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory tract infections with abundant mucus secretions due to acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis & its exacerbations, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis & bronchiectasis.

How should I take Fluimucil® (acetylcysteine)?

Should be taken with food.

How do I store Fluimucil® (acetylcysteine)?

Fluimucil® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Fluimucil® in the bathroom or the freezer. What should I know before using Fluimucil® (acetylcysteine)?

Before using this drug, tell your doctor if:

There are no adequate studies in women for determining risk when using Fluimucil® during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Side effects

What is the dose of Fluimucil® (acetylcysteine) for an adult?

One effervescent tablet (200 mg), 2-3 times a day.

Children over 6 years: One effervescent tablet (200 mg), 2-3 times a day.

Children 2 to 6 years old: One effervescent tablet (200 mg), 1-2 times a day.

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Fluimucil®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
