What is Dermatix® Ultra used for?
Dermatix® Ultra is a silicone gel. It is commonly used for management of scars resulting from surgery, burns, cuts, scratches, insect bites. Also, it is used for reduction of pain and itchiness associated with scars.
How should I take Dermatix® Ultra?
For topically taken form, you should:
- Apply Dermatix® Ultra on skin as directed by your doctor concerning: dose, schedule.
- Read the label carefully before using Dermatix® Ultra.
- Consult your doctor for any information on the label that you do not clearly understand.
How do I store Dermatix® Ultra?
Dermatix® Ultra is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Dermatix® Ultra in the bathroom or the freezer. There may be different brands of Dermatix® Ultra that may have different storage needs. It is important to always check the product package for instructions on storage, or ask your pharmacist. For safety, you should keep all medicines away from children and pets.

What should I know before using Dermatix® Ultra?

What is the dose of Dermatix® Ultra for an adult?
Recommended dose is twice applications per day. The recommended minimum duration of treatment is two months.

What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose of Dermatix® Ultra, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
