On the go
If you travel in a car, it will be better to travel early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid traffic. By avoiding traffic, you lower your possibility of allergen exposure caused by air pollution due to heavy traffic. Plus, you can get to where you want to go faster. Additionally, keep your windows up and use air-conditioner instead.
If you travel by plane or train, be aware of the smoking area. Ask to have yourself seated as far as possible to it. Also, bring your nasal spray in case anything happens.
There are hostels and hotels that have allergy-friendly rooms available. Be sure to contact the place you are going to stay in advance and book the room you desire. If there isn’t, then be clear to them with your allergy and ask for a smoke-free room. Try to stay away from the smoking area. Furthermore, there are hotels that permit pets. What you should do is to make sure you are not going to stay in a pet-friendly place.
Overall, you do have to try and make sure you have all the necessary information and taken all the necessary steps. Whether you travel for entertainment or for work, it is essential that you have prepared everything. Once you have everything ready, you just need to lie back and enjoy the trip.
