What is Combantrin® (Pyrantel) used for?

Combantrin® is an anthelmintics, commonly used for treat pinworms (enterobiasis; oxyuriasis) or  other worm infections. In some cases, Combantrin® can be prescribed to treat common roundworm infection; Hookworm infection and more than one worm infection at a time.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Combantrin®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
