What is Calcium Corbiere® used for?

Calcium Corbiere® is a dietary supplement. It is commonly used for treating calcium deficiency state, which may occur in diseases such as decreased levels of parathyroid hormone.

How should I take Calcium Corbiere®?

It comes as a tablet, liquid to take by mouth, after meal.

Tablet: Swallow it whole. Do not chew or crush. Drink with water.

Liquid: Shake the oral suspension (liquid) well just before you measure a dose. Measure liquid medicine with the dosing syringe provided, or with a special dose-measuring spoon or medicine cup. If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist for one.

Use the Calcium Corbiere® as directed by your doctor.

How do I store Calcium Corbiere®?

Calcium Corbiere® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Calcium Corbiere® in the bathroom or the freezer. The recommended dose is 1 to 3 tablets 500mg per day, or as directed by your doctor.

The maximum dose is 16 tablets/day.

For pregnant woman, the maximum dose is 7 tabs/day.

What is the dose of Calcium Corbiere® for a child?

The recommended dose is one tube in the morning.

Calcium Corbiere® is available in the following dosage forms and strengths:

  • Suspension 5ml
  • Tablet

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Calcium Corbiere®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
