What is Neo-pyrazon® (diclofenac sodium) used for?
Neo-pyrazon® is commonly used for:
- Articular syndrome (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout)
- Degenerative and chronic inflammatory diseases of musculoskeletal system (osteochondrosis, osteoarthritis, periartropatii)
- Post-traumatic inflammation of soft tissue and musculoskeletal system (sprains, bruises)
- Pain in the spine
- Pain and inflammation after surgery or injury
- Pain in gout, migraine
- Pain with Bursitis
- Colic (biliary and renal)
- Pain in infectious and inflammatory diseases of ENT organs
How should I take Neo-pyrazon® (diclofenac sodium)?
This drug should be taken with food or immediately after meals.
How do I store Neo-pyrazon® (diclofenac sodium)?
Neo-pyrazon® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Neo-pyrazon® in the bathroom or the freezer. There may be different brands of Neo-pyrazon® that may have different storage needs. It is important to always check the product package for instructions on storage, or ask your pharmacist. For safety, you should keep all medicines away from children and pets.
You should not flush Neo-pyrazon® down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. It is important to properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist for more details about how to safely discard your product.

What should I know before using Neo-pyrazon® (diclofenac sodium)?
Before using this drug, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients of Neo-pyrazon®.
During the period of treatment, there may decrease the speed of psychomotor reactions. With worsening blurred vision after application of eye drops, you should not drive and do other potentially danger activities.
Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Diclofenac should not be used by pregnant and nursing mothers for possible side effects on the cardiovascular system of the newborn.
What side effects can occur from Neo-pyrazon® (diclofenac sodium)?
Some side effects can occur when using this drug, such as:
- Abdominal pain and discomfort in the epigastrium
- Erosive-ulcerative lesions
- Gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation
- Abnormal liver function
- Inflammation of the colon bleeding
- Exacerbation of ulcerative colitis
- Irritability fatigue
- Visual disturbances (blurred, double vision)
- Mental disorders
- Renal failure
- Hair loss
- Skin rash

What is the dose of Neo-pyrazon® (diclofenac sodium) for an adult?
For oral use for adult, the single dose is 25-50 mg 2-3 times / 24 h.
The maximum oral daily dose for adults is 150 mg.
What is the dose of Neo-pyrazon® (diclofenac sodium) for a child?
For children older than 6 years and adolescents, the daily dose is 2 mg / kg.

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?
In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.
What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose of Neo-pyrazon®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
