What is Mizollen® (mizolastine) used for?

Mizollen® is an antihistamine. It is commonly used for relieve symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), nasal allergies, and other allergic reactions causing irritation of the eyes and nose (perennial allergic rhinoconjunctivitis).

How should I take Mizollen® (mizolastine)?

Take Mizollen® by mouth usually once a day with plenty of water. Use it for the duration of the prescription in order to get the most benefit from it.

Remember to use it at the same time each day – unless specifically told not to by your doctor.

It may take up to an hour before the full benefit of this drug takes effect.

Administer it with a sufficient quantity of water. Patients may take it alongside or after food, whichever is most convenient.

How do I store Mizollen® (mizolastine)?

Mizollen® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Mizollen® in the bathroom or the freezer.
