What is Kremil-S® used for?

In Kremil-S®, there are active ingredients such as Aluminum Hydroxide, Magnesium Hydroxide, Simeticone.

Kremil-S® is commonly used for relieving the symptoms of peptic ulcer, gastritis, esophagitis, and dyspepsia. It also alleviates the symptoms of gassiness, including postoperative gas pain, associated with hyperacidity.

Kremil-S® may be prescribed for other uses. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

How should I take Kremil-S®?

Kremil-S® Tablet may be chewed then swallowed without water or swallowed whole with water. Should be taken on an empty stomach.

How do I store Kremil-S®?

  • Kremil-S® may decrease the absorption of antibiotic (tetracycline and quinolone), digoxin, indomethacin, isothiazid.
  • Kremil-S® reduce the bioavailability of bisphosphates.
  • Kremil-S® increase the absorption of Dicumarol, Diazepam, Pseudoephedrine.
  • Kremil-S® decrease the blood level of Aspirin.

Kremil-S® may interact with food or alcohol by altering the way the drug works or increase the risk for serious side effects. Please discuss with your doctor or pharmacist any potential food or alcohol interactions before using this drug.

What health conditions may interact with Kremil-S®?

Kremil-S® may interact with your health condition. This interaction may worsen your health condition or alter the way the drug works. It is important to always let your doctor and pharmacist know all the health conditions you currently have, including:

  • Kidney disease;
  • Intestine obstruction;
  • Apendicitis;
  • Fecal impaction;
  • Gastric outlet obstruction;
  • Constipation;
  • Phosphate depletion and low serum phosphate;
  • Softening the bones.

What is the dose of Kremil-S® for an adult?

Recommend adult dose:

1 to 2 tablets to be taken one hour after each meal and at bedtime.

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services (115) or go to your nearest emergency room.

It is also important to carry a written list of all of the prescription and nonprescription (over-the-counter) medicines you are taking with you in case of emergencies.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Kremil-S®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
