What is Intetrix® used for?

Intetrix® is commonly used in the treatment of amoebiasis, protozoal diseases, microbial infections, protozoal diseases and other conditions.

Intetrix® may be prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

How should I take Intetrix®?

Take Intetrix® exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on the product package.

Take Intetrix® by mouth right before a meal, do not chew or break it, swallow the whole capsule. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

How do I store Intetrix®?

Intetrix® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Intetrix® in the bathroom or the freezer. What is the dose of Intetrix® for an adult?

The recommended dose is 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening.

Do not use Intetrix® more than 10 days.

How is Intetrix® available?

Intetrix® is available in the following dosage forms and strengths:

  • Capsule: Tiliquinol 50 mg, tiliquinol laurylsulfate 50 mg, tilbroquinol 200 mg.

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of medication, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
