For orally taken form, you should:

How do I store Dolmatil (Sulpiride)?

Before using Dolmatil®, tell your doctor if you have:

There are no adequate studies in women for determining risk when using Dolmatil® during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before having this medicine if you are pregnant, might become pregnant, or think you may be pregnant.
Do not breastfeed if you are taking Dolmatil® Tablets. This is because small amounts may pass into mothers’ milk. If you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.

As taking others medicines, taking Dolmatil® can cause some side effects. Most of them are rarely occurring and do not need any supplementary treatment. However, it is always important for you to consult your doctor if you have any problem after taking this medicine.
Some of the side effects are listed below:
- Tremor, stiffness and shuffling (parkinsonism);
- Trembling, muscle spasms or slow movements (extrapyramidal disorders).

Do not drink alcohol or take medicines that contain alcohol while being treated with Dolmatil® Tablets. This is because alcohol can increase the effects of Dolmatil® Tablets.

What is the dose of Dolmatil® (Sulpiride) for an adult?
Consult your doctor for information about the dose of Dolmatil® hydrochloride.
The usual starting dose is 400mg (two 200mg or one 400mg tablet) to 800mg (four 200mg or two 400mg tablets) daily depending on your illness. Your doctor may then change your dose depending on your situation.
What is the dose of Dolmatil® (Sulpiride) for a child?
Consult your doctor for information about the dose of Dolmatil®. Dolmatil® Tablets are not recommended for children under 14 years of age.
How is Dolmatil® (Sulpiride) available?
Dolmatil® is available in the following dosage forms and strengths:
- Dolmatil® 200mg Tablets;
- Dolmatil® 400mg Film-Coated Tablets.
What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?
In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services (115) or go to your nearest emergency room.
What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose of Dolmati®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
