What is Danzen® (Serratiopeptidase) used for?
Danzen® is commonly used for treatment of inflammation after operation, traumatic injury and inflammation of the following diseases and symptoms:
- Otorhinolaryngoloy sinusitis
- Gynecology engorgement of the breast
- Urology cystitis
- Dentistry and oral surgery
- Pericoronitis of the wisdom teeth
- Alveolar abscess
It is also used to treat inadequate expectoration of sputum in the following diseases:
- Pulmonary tuberculosis
- Bronchial asthma and inadequate expectoration of sputum after anesthesia.
Danzen® may be prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
How should I take Danzen® (Serratiopeptidase)?
Use Danzen® after meal. Remember not to crush, break, or chew the tablets. Swallow Danzen® whole with a glass of water.

How do I store Danzen® (Serratiopeptidase)?
Danzen® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Danzen® in the bathroom or the freezer. For safety, you should keep all medicines away from children and pets.

- Do not taking Danzen® with medications that slow blood clotting (Anticoagulant / Antiplatelet drugs) include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), diclofenac (Voltaren, Cataflam, others), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others), naproxen (Anaprox, Naprosyn, others), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, warfarin (Coumadin), and others. Because Danzen® might decrease blood clotting and increase the chances of bruising and bleeding.

What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose of Danzen®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
