What is the dose of Colimix® (dicyclomine and simethicone) for a child?

Recommended dose for children from 4 to 12 years old is 10-15 mL taken from 2-4 times per day. The maximum dose is 10-15 mL taken 4 doses in 24 hr.

Recommended dose for children from 6 months to 4 years old is 5 mL taken from 2-4 times per day. The maximum dose is 10-15 mL taken 4 doses in 24 hr.

The dosage has not been established in pediatric patients less than 6 months. It may be unsafe for your child. It is always important to fully understand the safety of the drug before using. Please consult with your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
