What is acarilbial (benzyl benzoate) used for?

Acarilbial is commonly used treating scabies infestations.

How should I take acarilbial (benzyl benzoate)?

1. Take a hot bath for about 10 minutes, preferably in a tub and let dry adequately;

2. Apply for some minutes, gently massaging with cotton-wool soaked in the liquid, to the skin of the entire body, except in the face, eyes, mucous membranes or urethral meatus and let dry;

3. Repeat the application, let dry again and get dressed;

4. 24-48 later have another bath and change body clothing and bed linen.

Although, in some cases, a unique treatment is usually successful to obtain the cure, experience indicates that, sometimes, it is necessary to apply the medicine in the above-mentioned conditions, on each of 2 successive days and, eventually, repeat it after 7 to10 days.

The volume of the solution should not exceed 30 or 20 ml for one application, in adults and children, respectively.
